Ep 21 - Jorge and Nancy: Co-Parenting
Hello listeners!
We are back with another show with great guests. This time we talked to Jorge and Nancy Narvaez Salas, parents of 12 year old Alexa, 8 year old Eliana and baby Aaron.
Jorge and Nancy spent 6 years separated and all of that time they co-parented their children. Two years ago, they realized that they were meant to be together forever.
Today, Jorge and Nancy’s purpose is to make sure that their children grow up in a loving nurturing home by creating a solid foundation that will allow them to grow up to be strong adults.
During our conversation, Jorge and Nancy shared how they met, the struggle they went through raising Alexa and how they learned that ultimately the most important thing about having a family is making sure the kids are taken care of and happy.
Coffee of the day: PublicUS Las Vegas. Thank you Favy from Latinos Who Lunch for taking me there!
Jorge's Remedy: Sit by the fire and sex.
Nancy's Remedy: Coffee (Nancy es de las mias).
Nancy's Quote: Two happy families are better than one unhappy one
Jorge's Quote: Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer. ― Rainer Maria Rilke
