Love Thy Neighbor Movement

I finally realized one way of giving back was through my gifts and talents. One way of giving my abundance is by sharing what I can do instead of monetary donations. Time is as valuable as money and I like giving mine to incredible causes like the Love Thy Neighbor Movement.

I met Ruben Torres a couple of years ago and finally I was able to interview him on Cafe con Pam. Also, during our interview, he told me he was going to go to Tijuana to deliver items to those in need. I quickly volunteered to photograph the event and did not realize how much my life would change.

There's power in photography and capturing these events are one of the reasons why I love doing what I do.

During our drop off day, we visited three locations. I'll let the photos tell the story...

After loading up, we started heading south

First stop

Next stop

I figured I get stuck on what to write most of the time. So I'm just going to post the photos and revise later. The third stop was the most touching to me.

After returning from this trip, I had so much gratitude. For all that I have and for being able to experience this. Click here to get involved with the Love Thy Neighbor Movement
