What it used to be
The following words used to be my mission statement, then I grew up. I like to keep archives of my own history and you can be my guest in taking a look at where it all began…
The home of Recovering Procrastinators. Our mission is to spread ideas, move people through the power of a safe community by welcoming curiosity and adventure that catalyzes impact to make the world a better place.
Thank you for stopping by and wanting to know more about Spread Ideas, Move People.
It all started in April of 2014. She's All In was born.
She's All In culminated on a beautiful day as I divulged about self-discovery. I felt recharged from a vacation and needed the separation from the day-to-day to imagine a project that would enable me to share my passions and equip people to be the driver of their own lives.
The gesture of stopping by is more than enough. Hopefully, the taste left in your mouth will entice you to come back again…and please, don't forget to drop me a line. I’d love to hear from you.
Wait, but this is not She's All In. You are correct. Spread Ideas, Move People was also born in 2014, but more in a tagline kind of way. It wasn't until the beginning of 2016 that I realized my true purpose was there: To Spread Ideas, Move People.
Are you a recovering procrastinator too? Join the Cafe con Pam Challenge and get organized in 5-days!. I share the templates I come up with to help me stay organized, and I hope they help you too.
My professional career began as a Graphic Designer, however, my working career began when I was 13 years old. I started selling clothes at a swap meet in Mexico City. My mom owned a business and my parents were recently separated. I saw my newly single working mom trying to provide, so I asked my mom’s friend to let me work with her, she said yes, and shortly after she was handing over her fanny pack with a “starter amount of cash” and she’d leave me in charge of the booth until the end of the night. I was thirteen! I had to make sure two employees were selling, engaging, and coming to me for change. I was the manager of the booth because my mom’s friend believed in me.
Shortly after, my mom lost everything. She wasn’t emotionally equipped to handle a “failed marriage,” run a business, and provide for her kids. She didn’t have a strong support system or any mentors supporting her. She made a choice and we moved to the United States in search for more opportunities. This chapter made a huge impact in my life. I saw my mother struggle, fight, and ultimately decide to close her business. Knowing what I know now, I know she could have succeeded if she had the support of a coach.
This is why I do what I do.
With my experience as a Brand Strategist, Sales Professional, and Educator, I became a Business Coach. I coach women entrepreneurs build their business with a strong foundation, confidence, and drive so their business thrives despite their outside world. I coach women entrepreneurs because I show up to be the person my mom needed.
Thank you for being part of the story.
Stay shining!
