This week's conversation is with Christine Gutierrez who is a Latina psychotherapist, love addiction expert, life coach and expert in trauma, abuse, & self-esteem, currently residing in Brooklyn. Christine’s mission is to empower as many people as possible to heal their pain and own their worth. Christine has been featured in many media outlets like Cosmopolitan for Latinas, Forbes and Huffington Post among others. Christine is also featured as a guide on Oneoeight.com and is a Dove Self Esteem expert.
In addition, Christine is also the founder of the non-profit Therapy is Cool, founded in Puerto Rico, where the mission is to empower marginalized youth and communities.
During our conversation, Christine and I talk about our previous abusive relationships and how allowing time to heal actually made us stronger individuals. Christine also explains what it is to have a love addiction and how to identify and overcome it.
